Keep Your Shoes Together with Shoe Organizers

Whether you have a jumbled mess of footwear on your closet floor, or simply need a small upgrade for your growing shoe collection, a good shoe organizer can do wonders for household organization. It can be challenging to keep all of your shoes neatly organized. Unorganized shoes are messy, difficult to find and just downright aggravating. Finding a shoe organizer to keep all of your shoes together can save you time and frustration. Review these simple tips and products and start getting your footwear in order today.

If you have a lot of footwear, it can be very helpful to use several different types of shoe organizers. Purchase an over the door shoe organizer and an angled shoe rack if you have a mix of formal shoes and sneakers. Put the sneakers in the over the door organizer to keep them neat and off the floor. And use the angled shoe rack for your formal footwear.

For those of us with an even more substantial footwear collection, the Multi-Pair Shoe Rack/Tower is a great storage and organizational solution. This simple device is a large shelving unit that can hold anywhere from twenty to fifty pairs of shoes, depending on the size you need. When it comes to sheer volume, there really is not much out there to rival this shoe organizer. Some over the Door Shoe Racks are close, but most top out in the mid-twenty or thirty range.

If you don’t have the space for an organizer this big, there are plenty of solutions for you. Under the bed shoe racks are excellent ways to use all of that extra in your bedroom. These top quality products will actually roll out from under the bed, making it easy for you to reach the shoes. Some also come with plastic covers to keep dust and dirt away from your footwear. The under bed shoe trolley and under bed shoe organizer are two excellent storage solutions. Another great product that holds plenty of shoes in a small space is the revolving chrome shoe organizer. It only holds eighteen pairs of shoes, but it does so with a rotating rack that takes up about as much floor space as a lamp. That efficient use of space is a great way to keep your shoes in one area if you are restricted to smaller spaces in your living quarters.

Another product that is great for storage in small spaces is the shoe chest. This device consists of small cubby holes that are covered in plastic, and as a whole can hold either twenty four or thirty six shoes depending on the model you choose. This product only takes up a few feet of space and can stay flush against the wall.

Sometimes the greatest challenge in keeping your shoes together is predicting how many shoes you will have in the future. It is easy to find a way to store everything you have now in the same place, but when you buy a new pair or two, you’ll have no place to put them. A great product to solve this problem is the expandable shoe rack. It starts out at two feet wide — large enough to hold many shoes without taking up too much space. It is great to use in conjunction with another storage device in the same location, and can do wonders for your organization overall. When those new shoes do arrive, it can be expanded to be up to four feet wide to hold your new footwear. Thinking ahead is an important part of any organizational plan.

Keeping all of your shoes together can be a challenge if you have a large collection of footwear. Sometimes the best approach is to use two items in tandem, such as an over the door shoe organizer and an angled shoe rack. Other times, you may need to use a larger device to hold a substantial quantity of shoes such as the multi-pair shoe rack / tower.

If you are in a small space, try using the under bed shoe storage devices, the rotating shoe stand or even the shoe chest. One of the most important things to remember when organizing your shoes is to plan for the future. Purchasing a product such as the expandable shoe rack will help you do just that.

However you choose to organize your shoes, these products can do amazing things to help you keep your shoes together. With neat and organized shoes, you’ll be able to save time and avoid unneeded stress.

Best way to organize a small apartment. (To seem like there is more room than there really is)?
I've got the over the door shoe racks, over the door ironing boards, and canned foods rack over the pantry door. But I need to find out what to do with my tons of genealogy, family stories, and pictures. For the most part it has been stored on Ancestry.com, and cdrw. I'm looking for new ideas.

Organization and Storage in a small bathroom?
My bathroom is leterally 4 x 6. The only bathroom in the house...there's not even room for one of those over the toilet standing shelves because the sink and the toilet are too close together. The only storage we have is under the small sink cabinet....I am talking very small. Oh, and the micro medicine cabinet that is only like a foot and a half tall! Right now I have an over the door shoe rack functioning as storage for all of out hair gels and combs and toothbrushes but I would love to do something better. Any ideas? P.S. We don't have much money to spend on improvements. Yes, I own the house.

How can I best store/access tall boots?
I live in a small apt. I don't have room to hang them. I tried using "boot shapers" before to stand the boots up in a row, but it takes too long then to grab them and go or take them off quickly when I get home. Over the door shoe racks won't fit the tall boots. Any ideas??

Tips on closet storage (from a walk in to barely any closet)?
I am moving this month, I currently have a walk in closet with shelving, and three huge rods for hanging storage. I am moving into a home where my closet isn't even as large as a standard bedroom closet. It's probably four feet wide, a few feet deep, but normal height. I am trying to figure out how I am possibly going to organize my clothing and where else I can store them (in the most inexpensive way possible, I'm a student). I've been looking at standing wardrobes but I can't tell which would function the best for every day use and not fall apart. I have a 9-cube cubical thing that I use right now to store knick knacks, books, etc, so I was thinking of using that for clothing and putting the stuff that is on it right now onto shelves. I have an over the door shoe rack already. And over the door hooks for jackets, etc. Maybe under bed storage? Which ones function the best for your money, though? An inexpensive dresser? An armoire would be great, if I could find one at a good price. Any tips would be great, I'm really stressed about how I'm going to make this work. I'm obviously going to get rid of a bunch of clothes, and put off season stuff like in under bed storage or something... Ideally I just need more room for hanging clothes. Thank you in advance!

Hi! I need an over the door shoe rack that is less than 20 inches wide!?
My closet door is very narrow, so most over the door shoe racks don't fit! I want a nice looking shoe rack, not the plastic ones with pockets... can anyone help me find a narrow shoe rack? Thanks.

Need ideas on ways to fix my closet problem?
Okay, so I need an alternative to my door for my closet. Please nothing expensive. The door won't stay shut and I've tried fixing it, but I think it just made the problems worse, so I'm fed up. I'm one of them people who can't stand to have a door that won't stay shut so I have to shove something heavy in front of it all the time and it's very annoying to have to move it every time I want something out of my closet. Its time for the door to go and something else to be put in its place. Any ideas what? There is also the small problem of where will my shoes go. I have one of them over the door racks and I have no where else to put the shoes. My closet is slam full on the floor and I have no where in my room to store my shoes that I won't be tripping over them all the time. I've posted some pictures of the problem please help me! http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd133/TryingtoMakeIt/IMGP0202.jpg -- This is my closet door now. http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd133/TryingtoMakeIt/IMGP0203.jpg -- This is why the door won't stay shut. http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd133/TryingtoMakeIt/IMGP0204.jpg -- Another reason why the door won't stay shut. http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd133/TryingtoMakeIt/IMGP0205.jpg -- This is the over the door shoe rack I was telling you about. What would I do with these shoes? http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd133/TryingtoMakeIt/IMGP0206.jpg -- This is the top of my closet doorway. Nothing heavy can hang from here. Alright come on designers or anybody who loves remodeling, please help me out here! Any ideas? Before anybody says it, I can't push the shoes under my bed either.Oh and please don't tell me to buy a new door. I'm looking to do something else. Thank you so much!

I have a an over the door shoe rack that does not fit on my door is there any other way to hang it?
I bought the "36 Pair Over-the-Door Shoe Rack" from bed bath and beyond and the door hooks are too small for my door. Is there any way I am able to attach the rack to my door without the hooks? or can I buy different hooks that would fit my door?
