Choose from the Different Types of Closet Shoe Organizers

Keeping all your shoes organized in one place can be extremely beneficial so you can quickly find the right pair to go with your outfit. This way you won't have to waste precious time digging through all your clothes and other accessories that may get in the way. The following is an overview of the different types of closet organizers that are available for your shoes.

Perhaps the most popular is the hanging shoe organizer as this simply hangs from a closet rack which can hold from 10 to 20 pairs depending on the size you get. These also have creative uses in that you can also be able to fit your clothes and socks in the pocket. Not only are these collapsible to make it portable, but they are also affordable at well costing less than $20 in most cases.

Another popular type is the over the door organizer which as the name suggests simply hangs from the top of your door. These are generally made out of durable canvas material and some have 20 pockets should you require that many. This is beneficial for many reasons so that you can easily and quickly access all your shoes in one spot.

Besides these two types as described above, you may also want to consider getting a shoe rack which simply gets placed on the floor. Many of these can also expand or stack on top of one another to save you even more storage space. There are many more different types available and which one you choose is entirely up to you but be sure to do your research ahead of time.

Organizing the shoes in my closet?
So I am moving into a new room tomorrow. I have my entire room mapped out, where I will place things, etc. The only problem lies in my closet! My closet is pretty much just carved into the wall, it's not a walk in or anything. Here is the wall and the closet:(The {''''''''}'s represent the rack that you can store things on and hang stuff from). _/''''''''''''''''''\__ As you can see, my closet is just kind of a shallow carved out area. My dresser is long, so it will take up all of the closet except for the very edges. Where can I stor my shoes easily? there is no room on the ground for them and no closet doors( I use curtains) to use the hangable shoe-organizer on! I really don't want to have to scar my room by placing the hanging shoe organizer in the open.

How can I better organize my closet?
My bedroom closet is pretty small, but needs to hold a lot of stuff. Currently, there is a built-in plaster shelf and two staggered rods that run from front to back, leaving about 3 feet of open space below my hanging clothes. On one rod I hang my tops, and on the other- from back to front- are my prom dresses, a narrow hanging shoe organizer, and my pants. Beneath my tops on the right side of my closet, I store out-of-season clothing in two plastic totes. Hanging on the inside of my closet door is a mesh organizer which holds all of my hair products and lotions and tools. I don't know how else I can organzie my closet to both fit everything and look neat. All suggestions will be appreciated!

Ideas for inexpensive closet organization?
So, i'm in a super tiny apartment, with 2 big closets. They have shelves at eye level that have about 6ft of vertical space (really high ceilings), depth of about 2 feet and 3 1/2 feet width on one and more than 12 ft width on the other. I'm looking for some way to build up and create more storage for cheap. Any ideas? Links would be greatly appreciated. I also have something like 50 pairs of shoes, and need some good storage for them. Right now I have 1 on those hanging shoe organizers, but they don't hold much and I don't have room to hang more. I also keep the nicer shoes and boots in their original boxes, but this makes it annoying when I go to pick out shoes. I don't have enough room to lay them out nicely on the closet floor. Thanks so much! function and cheap price are more important than aesthetics since I don't leave the closet doors open please be specific

Ideas about an eyeshadow organizer type thingy?
I have a billion little eyeshadow "pots" and they are in my caboodle but I have to dig around just to find the color i want, ya know? I was wondering if there was something that i could buy to organize them, preferably by color, or do you have any ideas how i would make something like that? I kind of want to be able to like hang it on the wall or something next to my mirror so I can just grab them as needed. I was thinking like a hanging shoe organizer but smaller and with smaller pouches obviously :) i'm a bad explainer so any ideas would be awesome!!!! Thank you for all the good ideas!!!!

Where can I get a custom closet system in the Khobar/Dammam area?
I am thinking of something like the Shulte Freedomrail System, where you can put in shelves, long/short hanging, shoe organizer, drawers/cabinets, in the size, style, materials, and configuration you want in your bedroom closet, storage/pantry, laundry room. I've seen the Elfa system at Howard's Storage, but the price of that is crazy high because it ships from Australia, and the salespeople at Howard's are clueless about how to design a space and don't even seem to know what components they sell and how much they cost. SACO has some components, but not enough to do much more than shelves. There used to be a place (near King Khalid Street, I think) that had California Closets, but it seems that they either closed or moved. Any ideas? Thanks! Thanks, Mintee. I have the IKEA catalogue, but it seems like you have to be an engineer to design and order their products (brackets, legs, handles, screws...). I'll check out the new place out by Extra (we call that road "the Extra Highway"--don't know what it's really called). Did you ever see a place in Khobar, somewhere near Swaiket and King Khalid Street, that sells customs closets? I can picture it on the east side of the road, but can't remember which road!!! Thanks again.
