Make Packing for a Crop Easy - Use a Cricut Tote

Make packing and organizing that much easier by using a Cricut Tote for your crop supplies. Sometimes getting ready and packing for a crop can be a daunting task. Experienced scrap bookers know that being organized is the first step to having a successful crop.

A tote that is packed with everything your need for your special time out is the first step to being organized. Planning ahead is what makes your cropping time a success. You will get have an enjoyable time and get more done.

What do you work on during a crop. Having a large amount of time, makes starting a new project an inviting possiblity. There also is enough time to finish up a current project and get that sense of accomplishment for a job well done. Regardless of what you plan to do at the crop, you need a master plan. Plan what you want to accomplish and follow that plan so you don't waste time wondering whats next. Here are a few items to pack for your crop:

Cricut Machine. If you take your machine with you, make sure it is secure in your tote for travel. Cutting your die cuts at home before the crop and taking those along in a secure pocket in your tote is also an options.

Paper. This is a must for a crop. Different sizes up to 12 x 12 should be taken. Your Cricut tote should be able to accomodate paper that is 12 x 12. Make sure it is in a pocket so it does not get damaged in route to the crop.

Adhesive and Scissors. Make sure you have plenty of both and back ups. It's not fun to run out of adhesive at a crop. Also having 2 pairs of scissors on hand, makes mis-placing one less painful.

Emellishments and Phots. Don't forget the photos. These can be stored in an inside pocket of your tote. Stickers, ribbons, beads, and other embellisments should also be packed in a pocket so you ready to use them at the crop.

Snacks and Extra Cash. Use the inside small pockets of your Cricut Storage Tote to pack some snacks and extra cash. You can work up an appetite while doing all your work at the crop. Having an easy snack to munch on during a break helps get you going again. Bring extra money in case there is an offer for only those that attend the crop. Sometimes there are special opportunities or scrap booking offers only available during that time.

Your tote should have deep tool pockets to accomodate pens, powders, and other fun items that you need for your special pages. Organize and pack your Cricut tote bag the way that works best for you so you can be ready when the next crop opportunity comes up.

Shelves for 31 gallon storage totes?
I have about 6 or 7 31 gallon storage totes in my small storage closet. They're stacked to the ceiling so obviously when I need something out of the bottom tote it's a pain! I know other people have this problem and was wandering if there were shelves sold somewhere to fit these totes perfectly so I can pull whichever one I need out without having to unstack them or am I going to have to suck it up and try to build some myself?

getting worried...do i have enough?
with my first 2 kids i was always scared that i don't have enough clothes for them...so i bought a ton of stuff. i have 9 storage totes full of clothes from 0-12 months...big totes too..now i'm expecting my little boy in 15 days and i don't have nearly that much clothes..i have 1 dresser drawer full and then some outfits in the closet...i have a paranoia that i'm not gonna have enough clothes...anyone else feel this way? how much is too much how little is too little? also...i'm impulsivly buying diapers..a lot of them...i have 3 packs of newborns and 2 packs of 112 size 1's...do you think i have enough newborns for a week at least? i forget how much they use them and if that will be enough...i have 18 brand new bottles..is that enough? i always breastfed before....i have 7 cans of formula..is that enough for a week...since i breastfed my other kids i don't know how much i'm going to need. i am only breastfeeding this baby the first couple days of colostrum and then going to formula... due to the fact that i have 2 very young needy toddlers...i'm gonna have to get some sleep and its hard to take care of them with a baby on the boob all day. so anyway ...is anyone going through this? do you think i have enough stuff? should i get more?

I bought 2 bell pepper plants and then planted them in a plastic storage tote to grow them in my apartment. My 3 yr old went and pulled all the leaves off of the plants. Will they still produce peppers or do I have to throw them out and buy new? Thank you sooo much

Beading storage options?
I am new to beading and I want to tidy up my supplies. Since I do not (yet) have my own dedicated workspace, I am thinking about buying a storage tote first and a stackable system later when I have a house. What features should I look for in a good craft tote? In a stackable system? Have you tried more than one type of storage? What worked and what didn't? What do you love/hate about the storage you own ( tote or stationary). Thanks in advance!!

Postpartum depression in rats?
I have bread many rats in my time, I was wondering this one rat I have seems to be depressed, one of her sisters is feeding her litter. but she does not seem to want to get them back. ok I sould have started like this: I have a very large storage tote holding 5 sisters who are all pregnant, they started having thier babies on the 28th. Three have delivered, two still have not. One of the last ones to deliver is just mopeing around, she is not bleeding, I felt her tummy and there are no more babies to be delivered. she had the babies over night so I did not see if they where stolen by her sister, of if her sister is just babiesitting for her, either way at least the babies are being fed.

Moving cheaper?...without selling all items we own?
My boyfriend and I will be moving from Southern Missouri to Oregon. We do not have a lot of furniture items, but would like to keep the few items we have. These items include: 1 couch, 1 sofa, 1 full size mattress/boxspring set, 2 (small) end tables, 1 chest, 1 nightstand, and several storage totes. Currently we have a Penske reservation set up, but with gas prices soaring, the gas is going to cost about as much as the truck. I have read other posts about using greyhound to ship items, etc. Any other suggestions?!? We will be taking one car with us as well. Any help would be great.... Thank you!
